Last year was one of those years lots of people will want to forget – for many reasons I don’t need to remind anyone of.
But for a few, last year will be one of the happiest. They got married to their best friend + lover and partner for life. Here are a few of my favorite images from that crazy 2022 year.
There are a still a few dates for 2023 still available , though not many. Please contact me directly to inquire.
My best of the best from this past decade from 2010 thru to 2019. Showing my timeless style of simplicity, natural beauty, candid moments, dramatic lighting, and just amazing photos from some of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet and work with over these last 10 years. Some I even now consider close friends.
Trends were never my thing – though I did try a few in the early 2010’s – but I came into my own style by 2015. The last 4 to 5 years that style has really been predominate with much learning to go in the coming years.
One thing about my work is I take pride knowing an image from last year, the year before or even 9 years ago will stand the test of time. Whether on any wall or mantle my images cannot be dated due to a trend or certain look from the wedding photography industry that has come and gone.
Once again – Thank you to all my clients (friends) from near and far! Love you all. Here’s to the next 10 amazing years to come!
Having a wedding in November is a hit a miss when it comes to the weather. And Jenn and Nick had some help from above shining down on this beautiful couple.
Large wedding parties are always fun, unique and most often challenging. But I love that about weddings in general. Getting to meet new people and seeing them have a good time and to be a part of an amazing memory for two people.
Here are some of my favourites from Jenn and Nick’s wedding yesterday that I hope you enjoy and share. A quick shout out to all the vendors that were involved in making Jenn and Nick’s day truly memorable.
If there were ever two people who could be more perfect for each – it would be Natalie + Scott. With Natalie’s huge smile and gigantic heart, and Scott’s larger than life personality and humor – it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their big day.
The entire wedding was a success from start to finish – with the weather being the way it was, sunny and cool. Too the fun and laughs with the entire wedding party all day. That fun continued throughout the evening and into the party hours.
A big congrats to you both, Natalie + Scott! Never change who you are!
A big thanks to all the vendors who helped out in that success for their wedding to make my job look easy! And a special thanks to Gene for second shooting for me.
Here are some of the highlights from this years run in Windsor ON, Oct 6th 2019. The rain came right on time when the run started as it seems to almost on the annual, but it didn’t stop the 800+ participants who ran with open hearts and smiles for this amazing cause to fight breast cancer!
Thanks to all who ran, donated, sponsored and volunteered! Without each and everyone of you this amazing event wouldn’t be such a huge success as it is every year!
Please enjoy and share with all who might as well.
2018 has been a different year professionally for me. My weddings slowed down a bit but my commercial work increased, which you can view here (soon). On the personal side of things a lot of growth has come with much more on the horizon. First year in many I didn’t get a chance to head east to my beloved Cape Breton; you were dearly missed!
Got to shoot some fabulous engagements of an amazing couple, Natasha and Nishant, back in my (kinda) hometown of Ottawa on THE hottest day of the year! And I finished off my wedding calendar with a destination to Mexico with two beautiful souls Amanda and Adrian.
Here are some of my favourites from all the highlights I shared with the world this 2018. Hope you enjoy. If your recently engaged or know someone who is – have them contact me for a highly experienced, fun loving energetic photographer – ME!
The day started out very wet, cold, rainy and down right miserable. But as more and more people showed up for this wonderful amazing event the rain slowly stopped and the temperature rose.
Tahnee and Devine’s wedding was one I was looking forward to for a while. The plan was for it to be outdoors on the patio at the St Clair Centre for the Arts overlooking the Detroit skyline but mother Nature had different plans for this day. The weather just didn’t co-operate enough to have it outside so inside we went. With their friends, family and their 4 gorgeous children Joe McParland, a family friend, got the married!
With a window of 30 min we managed to hope across the road for some creative images that Tahnee and Devine were hoping for, thankfully the rain held off just at the right moment to get them in.
Here are some of awesome highlights from their day. Enjoy.
This is how Chantel describes how she was proposed to by Matthew…
“We got engaged in Iceland. He brought the ring without my knowledge and held it on him everywhere we went. He wasn’t sure when he was going to do it but he knew he had to wait for the perfect moment. We had just went snorkeling and deciding to take a hike to the nearest waterfall (Öxarárfoss). It was then he decided he wanted to do it. He had asked friends of ours to take a picture of us in front of this beautiful waterfall and proceeded to get down on one knee. Not knowing what was happening he took the box out of his coat pocket and was shaking like a leaf. I was so worried he was going to drop it and we would never see this ring again. But thankfully he didn’t, he got the words that wanted to say and without hesitation I said YES!”
This has been a very gloomy, cold and wet spring thus far. But thankfully on the day of Sara and Jordan’s wedding it was simply beautiful. The sun was out with a little cool breeze blowing form Lake St. Clair; everyone who attended their outdoor ceremony couldn’t be happier for this.
The original plan was to have the outdoor ceremony at the Canadian Club Heritage Brand Centre (Hiram Walker’s) in Walkerville but due to the parent company selling off the building it was closed for events as of December 31st 2017. As sad as that news was the new location at Beachgrove Golf and Country Club was the next best location.
Here are some of my favorites from their wedding on May 5th.
Cheers,
Trevor
Over the last year and half I noticed a resurgence in small business advertising utilizing the visual medias as the central focus of most PR/social media/web based campaigns. Being a commercial photographer besides a wedding photographer I get to meet a lot of successful entrepreneurs in Windsor Essex. I love being behind the camera whether its in the studio updating a realtors head shot for their business cards and website, in the local restaurant updating their menu items or photographing successful businesses for THE DRIVE magazine. I love it all and I proud to bring you these photos from 2016-2017 of successful Windsorites!

It has been a one of the best years for me professionally. I want to again thank and congratulate all my clients this year for trusting in me, my vision and mostly my creativity.
I absolutely love photographing a wedding. All the challenges it brings, both personally and professionally. The best is the artistic freedom that my clients give me! THANK YOU! To all that have enjoyed and grown to love my style over the years – THANK YOU!
I will continue to become better and better, learning as I grow for all my 2018 clients and beyond.
Here’s to the new year and what it might bring to everyone. Cheers and enjoy some of my favourites from this past year of 2017
Trevor
THANKS to all the vendors who helped bring my art to life!!! Love and happiness to all!
“Alan flew me out for a weekend getaway to New York City on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend last year. We had both never been before and toured the amazing city! We were strolling through Central Park on a beautiful bright sunny day and an opera singer was singing a beautiful melody as we walked down a flight of stairs, under an arch which opened into a promenade to a gorgeous fountain and a lake view behind it. It was the most serene scene and Alan got down on one knee and proposed to me right in front of the fountain. A crowd of people witnessed this special occasion and started clapping and congratulated us. It was truly breath taking and one of the best days of our lives!”
Congrats to you both, MaryGrace + Alan. Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day. Here are some of my favourites from their wedding.
You can’t control the weather…and with that the cold November rain was upon us for Sheena + Ryan’s wedding day. Luckily we had a back up location and a small 30 minute window without rain to work with to get some amazing fun images…
Ryan’s proposal in his own words…”It was late December last year, and I had gotten the ring a month before and was waiting for the right time. Something in me said that today was the day despite having no real significance to either of us. So, I left work early, grabbed a bottle of wine, and set up a pick-nick in our basement (because it was raining), when she got home from work I asked her to help me move something and she came downstairs to find me on one knee.”
Congrats to you both, Sheena and Ryan. Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day. Here are some of my favourites from their wedding.
“It was Christmas morning and I was so nervous I couldn’t sleep. I got out of bed around 6 am and had my morning coffee. I knew Melissa was always excited for Christmas morning and would wake up early. So I sat drinking my coffee mustering up the courage to go upstairs. Finally I knew it was time when the sun started to come up. I ran upstairs and woke Melissa by saying that Santa had come. I put her gift in front of her and had her open it. Once she got down to the small ring box I took it from her and got down on one knee to pop the question. She was still wiping the sleep out of her eyes and at first thought I was joking. Once she realized what was happening she said yes!! She jumped out of bed and started freaking out, who to tell first and that she had to get ready. It was our best Christmas thus far.”
Congrats to you both, Melissa + Steve! Thanks for letting me be a part of your day. Here are some of my favourites from your wedding.
“We went camping, he insisted we see the sunset that night so we were rushing after dinner. He told me to take a photo of him holding the sun and I told him it wasn’t working. He was like, Babe….so I looked away from the camera and he was on his knee.”
Here are some favourites from Stef and Ian’s outdoor wedding in Amherstburg, ON. The weather was perfect and we were all thankful as there really wasn’t a plan B if it wasn’t.
Congrats to you both, Stef and Ian. It was my pleasure and honour to be a part of your wedding. All the best to you both.
Cheers, Trevor
