Best of the DECADE 2010 – 2019

Best of the DECADE 2010 – 2019

This is a blog 10 years in the making!!!

My best of the best from this past decade from 2010 thru to 2019. Showing my timeless style of simplicity, natural beauty, candid moments, dramatic lighting, and just amazing photos from some of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure to meet and work with over these last 10 years. Some I even now consider close friends.

Trends were never my thing – though I did try a few in the early 2010’s – but I came into my own style by 2015. The last 4 to 5 years that style has really been predominate with much learning to go in the coming years.

One thing about my work is I take pride knowing an image from last year, the year before or even 9 years ago will stand the test of time. Whether on any wall or mantle my images cannot be dated due to a trend or certain look from the wedding photography industry that has come and gone.

Once again – Thank you to all my clients (friends) from near and far! Love you all. Here’s to the next 10 amazing years to come!

Cheers, Trevor

Having a wedding in November is a hit a miss when it comes to the weather. And Jenn and Nick had some help from above shining down on this beautiful couple.

Large wedding parties are always fun, unique and most often challenging. But I love that about weddings in general. Getting to meet new people and seeing them have a good time and to be a part of an amazing memory for two people.

Natalie and Scott, Windsor ON

Natalie and Scott, Windsor ON

If there were ever two people who could be more perfect for each – it would be Natalie + Scott. With Natalie’s huge smile and gigantic heart, and Scott’s larger than life personality and humor – it was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their big day.

The entire wedding was a success from start to finish – with the weather being the way it was, sunny and cool. Too the fun and laughs with the entire wedding party all day. That fun continued throughout the evening and into the party hours.

A big congrats to you both, Natalie + Scott! Never change who you are!

A big thanks to all the vendors who helped out in that success for their wedding to make my job look easy! And a special thanks to Gene for second shooting for me.

A small intimate wedding in the gorgeous setting of Elmhurst Inn, Ingersoll, ON

Big congrats to Jaime and Patrick.

Their small intimate wedding on the gorgeous grounds of the historic Elmhurst Inn was truly something from a fairy tail. The day was perfect with with the weather being as good as it could be for an outdoor ceremony.

Please enjoy some of their images and if you like them, share them.

Cheers, Trevor

Amanda + Adrian – Destination Tulum Mexico

Amanda + Adrian – Destination Tulum Mexico

I first met Amanda when she stood up as a bridesmaid for a good friend of hers for another client. Her and Adrian loved my images and my approach to photographing a wedding. We met a few months after and our personalities clicked – which is a big deal for a destination wedding – and we discussed all the details her and her wedding planner were making for a November wedding in Tulum, Mexico.

The first day after I arrived, we met with their wedding planner to scout out locations and to understand the timing of the day and figure out how much time we would need at each location.

The wedding day finally came with zero chance of precipitation so I knew we would be able to utilize every spot we scouted.

Amanda and Adrian both agreed to have their first reveal by themselves to keep the intimacy. The location couldn’t been better.

Throughout the day we stopped at a few different locations heading towards Tulum which was about an hour from our Barcelo Resort Coming into the twilight hour and finally arriving to Mia Restaurant and Beach Resort. The timing of the ceremony was perfect. Family images were shot upon the sunset soaked beach and everything perfect….till the ginormous rain cloud came right as dinner was going to be served outside. Thankfully Nemo Sierra, their wedding planner had a plan B and we moved into the restaurant for dinner.

By the time dinner was over the rain had stopped and the dancing commenced on the beach. The day was absolutely beautiful even with the hour and a half of rain.

Here are some of my favourites from such an amazing wedding of two of most down to earth people you could met.

Enjoy, Cheers
