“Alan flew me out for a weekend getaway to New York City on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend last year. We had both never been before and toured the amazing city! We were strolling through Central Park on a beautiful bright sunny day and an opera singer was singing a beautiful melody as we walked down a flight of stairs, under an arch which opened into a promenade to a gorgeous fountain and a lake view behind it. It was the most serene scene and Alan got down on one knee and proposed to me right in front of the fountain. A crowd of people witnessed this special occasion and started clapping and congratulated us. It was truly breath taking and one of the best days of our lives!”
